30 ft well, submerged, tank in basement with separate two fuse box. Your site showed me where pressure switch is (have not manipulated it yet).Novice, widow, has taken 3 days to get this far. Dug up patio to find well. Today found and opened basement fuse box above electron tank w pressure gauge. One fuse had blown.
Original fuse marked Gem 30A 1.125 vi. Bought buss 30 amp TL time delay Edison base fuses. Turned fuse box to off, installed fuses. Closed door. Moved arm to On. Pop and white spark. Repeated procedure for same results. Is error not manipulating pressure switch first AND OR question of time delay fuse. If so, how is a short acting fuse marked? Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.
