We are interested in installing a curb stop type valve on our water line with a standing water discharge feature beyond the one the water company has at the street. We winterize and shut down the home periodically and would like to be independent of needing the town to come out and turn on and off the water for us. It must have a standing water discharge feature in order to evacuate the remaining water in the line from the valve to the meter in the basement. Has anyone any experience with this, know where to get one, or have a recommendation as to type or brand? The water line is 3/4 PVC I believe. Many thanks for any input.....
