Hot water Tie-line between PEX manifolds ??

    Location:
    Van, TX
    New home construction, 3773 sq feet. Plan to put in two water heaters, one at kitchen / laundry side of house and one at the other for baths. When it is just my wife and I, no guests, would it make sense to tie the two PEX manifolds hot water supplies together so that one water heater could service the whole house ??
