So ran across one of these at the local big box store and liked the look of the one I saw. Unfortunately, it "disappeared" and none of the help there even remembers it and google oddly doesnt find anything when searching for slot drain sink. Is there a proper term for this style of sink or do any of you know where to find one.

The one attached is from costco but I liked the original one I saw better as this one doesnt have a matching linen cabinet.

Are you really sure you want a sink like that? I know it goes down to a single drain but prior to that you could end up with buildup to the sides where the water doesn't wash the slot.

Part of my inlaws remodel to their house was an above cabinet bowl type sink in the master bath. They hate it now and wish they had a nice faucet with a more traditional sink.

I agree the bowl sinks are annoying. I'm not sure the traditional sinks are much better with having to be sealed to the counter with calk. They also have parts that do not see water flow regularly (upper bowl and rim). Just normally you clean this off before it builds up to horrible levels. I'd imagine the same cleanup effort would be required with just about any sink.

Mostly, I want to eliminate the metal drain/cover at the bottom of the sink which can collect junk and hair and will eventually wear out (scratched metal, etc). The only sink clog I've ever had is hair at the end of the sink stopper which is annoying since I never full the sink.
