Can anyone identify this?
My local plumber couldn't find one exactly like it.

Are you looking to solve a leak problem, or something else? For a leak, a new washer, seat, and/or packing can probably solve a leak.

For leaks out the spout, that would be washer and packing. For leaks out of the stem, that would be packing.

I understand this was not the question that you asked. Maybe you want to put your old stem on the market and want a description to go along with it.

Looks like probably a Crane or Briggs. Need to take the handle off and count the splines, also need a length measurement with the handle off. Maybe some more pics if you can. Is it part of a 2 or 3 handle valve? Barry E. Walter Co. can id it for you. Used to be a member here but can't find him.
