I have my 7000 set for brine fill first (1st stage of regen is brine fill). Does anyone know if the softener is bypassed during brine fill or does the water flow through the resin like usual?

While I am at it, what happens if water is drawn from the outflow during each stage or regen (backwash, brine draw, and rapid rinse). I assume the tank would have to be bypassed during, at minimum, brine draw or else you would be drawing salty water into your house.

Thanks!
