I need a toilet shorter than 28". The highest rated ones seem to be Toto, and there is both an Ultramax and a new Soiree with "double cyclone" flush that would fit.
However, I don't really like the look of the Totos or their plastic seats. It's going into a 1930 apartment and they look too modern. I prefer the look of the Kallista, but am wondering if it will have a satisfactory flushing power. I currently have a 1980's American Standard low rise that needs to be flushed twice nearly every time. I don't want a toilet with the same problem!
Here's a link to the spec sheet for the Kallista Michael Smith "loft" toilet. I think it is probably made by the parent company Kohler.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
