Here at my work there is a restroom by the computers I waste time at. There is a Chicago battery powered faucet that turns on and off at will like it is haunted. New batteries did not fix it. Don't know a model number either. Don't have a instruction sheet either. How do you trouble shoot something like this?. I just showed my boss that I was asking here how to deal with this. Thanks in advance.

Take a picture of it and take the picture to a local plumbing whole-saler and see if they can match it up for you.

You may need to replace the module.

Check first to see if the sensor window is clear of debris or scum, etc.
