Terry Love, the site designer can be reached at terry@terrylove The picture above was taken by Bruce from Cashmere Mountain above Windy Pass. A real surprise was the 360 degree view of the Cascades. To the left in the picture is 9415-foot Mt. Stuart. Toward the right, in the background is 14,410-foot Mt. Rainier. The hike to Windy Pass is the Eightmile Lake trail No. 1552. From the trailhead to Lake Caroline is 5-1/2 miles with an elevation gain of 2840 feet. The extra 2 miles and 1,000 feet of elevation is very much worth it. Especially walking the ridge toward 8501-foot Cashmere Mountain. |
