Aasgard Pass and Dragon Tail above Colchuck Lake This hike from the lake to the pass takes a couple hours. Not as hard as they say when the weather is dry. The water was warm enough for swimming and some fish in the lake. Some people go from the parking lot, past the lake and up Aasgard Pass in one day. Not us. We have always stayed at the lake, and started up the pass in the morning. When you top out over the pass, you wind up in lot's of snow, even in late Summer.
