Wye with side inlet for vent

Is a wye with a vertically oriented side inlet an appropriate way to vent a fixture connecting to a horizontal building drain?

tt might be if you could find one. I have never seen one or located one in any catalog.

Cast iron used to have all kinds of strange connections. Mueller makes a few different versions in PVC. I wonder if they meet code.
