I have an old utility sink faucet that I'd like to attach a garden hose adapter to - the only problem is that the faucet has no male or female threads. Is there an adapter of some kind that could slide over or inside the faucet? Or am I stuck replacing the whole thing? It's an old house, and the faucet has probably been there quite some time.

thanks

Check the Camco Water Bandit. You will not be able to build pressure, but you could get water from one place to another.

There is no adapter and you should not use one even if there were. To connect a hose you need a faucet with a backflow/vacuum breaker function. Usually that means a "mop sink faucet". Someone may post a picture of one here.
