It seems that I have a vacuum breaker that I cannot find anywhere online. I am not a plumber, but I have owned 4 rental properties, so I have replaced water heaters before. I have NO experience with this device, but it looks like it is leaking due to internal lime. We added a water softener a year ago, and I think the soft water has gotten thru the lime deposits.
Can I just turn off the supply, bleed the pressure, and use a channel locks to take that horizontal cylinder off? This is for my wife's nail salon, (open 7 days a week) so I don't wanna get into too much trouble that I can't get out of fast, but it looks like that comes apart and needs a new o-ring or something.
