Normally, I'd try to use a vent tee, but no where around here carries them (maybe that means no one uses them?). So my options are a sanitee on its back or a schedule 40 water application tee. I have both in my hand currently. Considering that, which is preferred? I'm think the sch. 40.

This is for a vent only, reventing specifically, if that even matters.

As far as I can tell, VIRGINIA uses , IRC 2015, Google What code your specific city uses. Chapter 30, Table p3005.1

You are correct in code for VA, I have read the entire section and as far as I can tell either is OK, unless I am missing something obvious. I guess what I was asking is what a more experienced person would use in the situation. I decided to use the sch. 40 tee since vent pulls both ways, one for utility tub and the other for washing machine. While probably super minor, the sanitary Tee has a sweep to one direction and this I feel the sch. 40 tee offers the least restrictive air flow but I think that is really just splitting hairs at this point. Thanks for the response!
