Hi folks,

I'm ready to install my whirlpool in my new basement bathroom. Ive cut into the slab and have plenty or space to work with but which trap works best? A p-trap or an s-trap? This tub will also be used as a shower also if that makes any difference.

Thanks all

Martin

P-trap. S-traps aren't to code. A tub gets a 1.5" drain, a dedicated shower would need a 2". Don't forget the vent line.
