I want to install a sink in the bbq island on our patio (Ideally I woudl like to install a garbage disposal into this sink also. ). I have a 1 1/2" drain line leading from the back yard to the side of the house with approximately 10-12" of fall over ~35 feet. I need to lift the waste water approximately 2 to 3 feet to drain into a 3" line that runs the width of my houseconnecting the pool filter back flush and sink to the main line on the opposite side of the house.

I am imagining that I will need to bury a tank with a sewage ejector pump in the side yard.

Is there another way? any recommendations?

I have an outdoor kitchen in a RV that has a small rv sink that drains into a small poly ethelene tank which has a small (mayeb shur flo) pump inside that turns on and pumps the waste water over to the gray water tank. Can something like this be done in a bbq island on a larger scale?

Thanks for any insight
