I hired a guy, he claimed to be a plumber. The job, at least from my view, was relatively simple. All I needed done was remove two water pipes hanging below my floor joist and replace them with PEX. The PEX was to be run between the floor joist that run parallel to the pipe. I didn’t feel that I needed to do a lot of research since it appeared to be simple. It was a couple of days between the time the guy finished before I was able to look at it. Much to my surprise, the guy used 3/4” PEX when everything else is 1/2”.

The PEX is the supply line from the tankless water heater and the cold water running to the basement bathroom and an upstairs bath. Naturally, my question is do I have a problem. It looks like I may be able to push 1/2” inside the 3/4” but, there is a turn that is about a 30 degree radius turn.

I would really love some opinions, thanks in advance for your help.
