Hello,
I Installed a manual, non-programmable thermostat today and was not pleased with it's accuracy. It was for a natural gas vented space heater. I placed a thermometer on the wall next to it. I set the t-stat to 55degrees and it did not turn the heater off until the room had reached 63-65 degrees (minimum 8 degree swing). When I want the room to be 55 and it is going to 63-65 the range is too much.
Adjusting the anticipator did not help.
Is there a more accurate manual, non-programmable thermostat available in the below $40 range?
Thanks in Advance!
