Navien Remote Controller Temp Issue

I have a Navian NPE-240A unit and just installed the remote controller, 30022717B (NR-21DU). The temperature on the controller and the actual unit do not sync, i.e, when I set the temperature on the remote controller to 135 degrees, the actual heater control panel display will go to 114 degrees. Any ideas on how to get them to align?

Hello......I also have a NPE 240A, and wanted to try the remote. I was told by Navien to order the Navien NR-20DU. It allows 3 time programs per 24 hour day. It has worked fine for 3 months now. Maybe yours is the wrong one?
