The only locknut wrenches I know of are for basket strainer locknuts (picture 1) and shower drain locknuts (picture 2). {Rugged posted that second photo recently on another thread.}

For sink drains, a channel locks is most often used, as HJ just said.

I like the Channelock pliers with curved jaws best and I think they work best on 11/2" and 2" jam nuts better than any thing else I've used.
