Kitchen Sink on a 19" deep wall

I need to move the sink in my kitchen and the wall I want to do it is only 19" deep. If I used a bathroom vanity of 21" it would not stick out too much (the wall lines up with the hall way into the kitchen). If I put the faucets on the wall and use a stainless 31" x 18" sink or a farm sink can this be done? I know I may have to reinforce the sink from underneath and that is no problem. Thanks!
