You must throw Redgard or any caulk cartridges away after 12 months shelf life passed from the date code?

If its not must, how do we check redgard or caulk if its still good (even though 12 months shelf life is passed)?

Once u open the redgard - what is the life of it? and same question for caulk @wwhitney @Terry @Terry Love @jadnashua

I am not a pro. For me it depends on what I am using it for. Would I use expired Alex Plus on baseboards? Yup. Would I use expired silicone on a tub drain? Nope.
