I was wondering if someone can help me. I want to install a sillcock on the outside of my garage. However, my garage is fully insulated and drywalled.

Since the faucet runs through the drywall and insulation to the outside don't I have to do something to protect the drywall and insulation from the possibility of mold as a result of the frost free sillcock pipe sweating ?

Thanks
Adam

Unless there is air infiltration in the wall, there'd normally not be any moisture there to condense. Now, outside the wall, it could, and it might run inside the wall depending on the slope if not sealed well.
