Well, it looks like one is on the cards.

America can't even keep its Government running.

    Bring back the King.

    I could blame the politicians.

But really it's again the fault of American taxpayers who are selfish and petty.

    But it's not all bad.

Veterans' services will cease. They get a lot anyway.

Firearms applications will be affected. Yippee! Fewer guns.

And the armed forces will be paid late (that will make some people here sit up straight).

So the very constituencies that have pushed this issue, may face problems in some of the Government services they hold dearest.

    America does work after all!

And you will learn, but the hard way...Government is good.

And y'all miss it when it's gone.

How disgusting. You should all be shamed.

The government needs a few weeks rest. Send it to Sedona to rub crystals and rethink their stupidity and greed.

We do not need to return a group of inbred pompous a##es as we have enough in Washington now who think we the tax payers should fund too many unneeded mandates.

So you all suffer to make a point about cutting peanuts?

The real issues are entitlements. They are veterans' benefits. They are social security. They are medical expenses for your poor and elderly.

Do you seriously want to cut those?

We can trim the vets' benefits (I've never seen a poor one), but you can only go so far. They did risk their lives, after all.

But the bottom line is you can afford it. And your kids can afford it. And your kids' kids will be able to afford it.

So what's all the fuss about?
