Good Toilet Cleaner and Method?

This toilet bowl is yellowed from the water level down. It won't clean with bleach, comet, and a toilet brush.

What gives on a bowl that is dirty like this?

Try pouring in a cup of vineagar and letting it sit overnight. Brown could be rust. Something like CLR might solve it, too. Use of an abrasive cleaner is not a good idea.

Usually with Rust you also get lines running down from the rim.
Do you "If it's yellow let it mellow" if so i would say don't.

It is not rust.
What's let it mellow mean? Vinegar?

"If it's yellow let it mellow, if it's brown flush it down"

Here is a toilet drain filling in with salt deposits. They toilet was thrown away because the salt from the urine was filing the trapway.

Baking soda and vinegar paste, mixed with a drop of lemon juice, that will do the trick.
