Delta Dryden toilet lever on my Drake Toto.
Plumber says if turned the other way, which is how most people would expect it to be. You would have to lift the handle to flush. This is counter-intuitive. What can be done?!

FWIW, some toilets are designed to have the flush lever on the right, and some on the left. It's more common on the left as you're standing in front of the toilet. The reason for some being on the right is that ADA requirements call for the handle to be on the side you can approach with your wheelchair, so if the toilet is up near a wall on one side, the handle would have to be on the other, depends on the room layout. Most homeowners wouldn't care unless they were trying to adhere to ADA requirements.
