floor mount rear outlet toilet replacement

I have 2 Colton (CW) rear outlet toilets, 1977, tank has cracked on one and now must install newer gravity feed or flush assist, looking at Caroma Sydney Smart, or Crane...These are mounted in back to back bathrooms and share a single Y outlet..is there a problem installing these newer toilets?

Yes, i have heard that sometimes with power assist toilets in back to back configuration the force is so great it can cause the water in the bowl of the other toilet to spray up.
