Ok, so I was going to try and up backwash from 7gpm to 8gpm on my KL light 2510 AIO system. I am doing this because according to my 77 degree well water it puts me at the low end of a recommended backwash flow.

Everywhere I looked made me think 7gpm was the max you could install in this. Then I ran across an 8gpm for fleck (PN 17943) and just ordered it. Well its like an 1" vs the existing 3/4" one.

Can anyone verify that there is in fact an 8gpm DLFC available for the 2510? If so where can I get it?
Whats the max potential flow with the DLFC removed?

You need a brass piece that sticks out of the housing. I am not sure how it all works... In the manual...
....... 60706-8.0 ........DLFC, QC x 3/4-inch F, 8.0 gpm
....... 60706-9.0 ........DLFC, QC x 3/4-inch F, 9.0 gpm
....... 60706-10 .........DLFC, QC x 3/4-inch F, 10 gpm
....... 60706-12 .........DLFC, QC x 3/4-inch F, 12 gpm
....... 60706-15 .........DLFC, QC x 3/4-inch F, 15 gpm
....... 60706-20 .........DLFC, QC x 3/4-inch F, 20 gpm

QC stands for quick connect. It is not clear if the part number includes the brass, or is a number for just the button.

Ouch! thats expensive just to use brass.. :( I was willing to waste a few bucks on the rubber button to try this.. But wow. I guess I need to find just the brass fitting now that I already have the button..
