Hi,
I just replaced our bathroom faucet (simple drop-in install) and now the cold water has a very loud gushing /pressure type sound. The water pressure coming out seems normal, same as before. The noise seems to be coming from the pipes, and decreases as you open the faucet up.

The hot water works as fine, and is far less noisy.

Any thoughts?

thanks
kaspar

Valve Open

The sound could be from an obstruction. Is your cold water valve all the way on and if so then clear the cold stem.

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
