Is one of these better than the other? I have been using the brass ones but the cost difference quite significant. Thanks Michael

you don't need to sweat fittings. sharkbites or john guest fittings will work fine, with the added benefit they're removable

Just like sweat fittings better, just don’t have the faith in sharkbites.

If installed correctly they are bulletproof, as are john guest. I've installed thousands without a single failure. I would understand however if cost is an issue. I would think either would be fine. SS pex bands, however, are far superior to copper crush bands, which lend themselves to the occasional leak
