I need to replace the cartridge in my single handle Concinnity kitchen faucet but I'm completely stumped on how to remove the handle so I can get to the cartridge. Any suggestions on how to take it apart?

I've figured out that the collar unscrews, but the handle/ball apparatus still feels firmly attached when the collar is free.

I have the same problem. I simply cannot figure out how to access the cartridge on my Concinnity Mount Vernon faucet. I even have the entire faucet removed from my sink now. Any ideas? This is very frustrating.
