Does anyone have any suggestions for a coliform bacteria test kit. Parameters:
no controlled temp incubator required
reasonable cost per test
suitable for testing potable water

With regard to testing potable water:

There is a distinction between a kit able to test potable water, and a kit that is suitable for determining that water is safe. Most of the kits that you can buy for use without an incubator would never be acceptable for certifying the safety of a potable supply.
