Hi all,
I have a WaterDrop G3 reverse osmosis system. The manufacturer says we need to change the filter after X months or after N gallons whichever comes first. They don't account for the quality of the incoming water which does have a big impact on the life of the filter.
Is it okay to not change filters as long my the TDS of the produced water has not substantially increased? The filters are quite pricey and seem like a waste to change them on a fixed schedule. Obviously, the manufacturer is profit from filters sales.
Thanks
