BW 50gal MI5036FBN – High Altitude

    Contractor spec’d a BW in the title.
    What makes a WH “high altitude�

    Either the gas btu has to be reduced or the air volume increased to compensate for the thinner air. The BW standard heaters are rated to about 6,500 feet above sea level.
