Once we're into the longer lengths of brass nipples for faucet connections, does it make more sense to just use copper pipe with NPT fittings sweated to the ends?
Or is over-stressing the sweated connection in the wall (copper pipe to NPT fitting, threading into the drop ear) too big a risk?
I'm needing brass nipples in the 9 to 10" range, which are easy enough to find, but it seems more practical to simply cut pipe to the length needed.
