There is no exhaust fan in the master bathroom, and I would like to add one. There are 2 major issues:
  1. The ceiling is angled.
  2. There is no accessible attic space above the ceiling.
Are there any fans that can be mounted to run on an angle? And, if so, is there any reason not to vent it straight up through the roof? My wife is concerned about leaks.

Alternatively, should I have a roof mounted fan installed instead? Could I use a small version of the fans used to vent attics?

Hi SAS,
At some point your angled ceiling meets a wall, right? Put it there, on that vertical surface as close to the ceiling as possible.
