I’m looking at replacing my White-Rodgers Type 8F48A aquastat (obsolete) on my 1990 Vaillant GA-140 boiler. My research leads me to two options. 1. Honeywell L8148E1265 or Beckett AquaSmart 7610B. It appears as though Beckett just recently changed from their 7600B to the 7610B & I’m not seeing any reviews yet on their newest aquastat. Seems like the Honeywell L8148E1265 has lots of positive reviews, however I’m leaning more towards the newer technology of the Beckett. Would appreciate feedback regarding both.
