Many years ago I removed a 2 inch metal drain pipe that went from the Kitchen sink to the main 4 stack under my house. I didn't have much plumbing experience at that time and didn't slope the pipe properly. I had a plumber go under the house to run a gas line and I asked his advice on re routing this drain line. I would like someone to review the following picture. My plan is to use a 3 inch sanitary tee, put a clean out cap on the straight part and connect a 45 degree street connector to the tee. Once I attach the 45 street connector I plan on reducing it from 3-2 inches and run the pipe straight to the kitchen sink drain. I just want to make sure that the water and solids can flow properly with this setup. Thanks again- Andrew DIY
