Ok my first PEX redo and thought I was all set to go till I saw the reduction in say 90deg fittings ID.
1/2 copper feeding a back to back showe/tub with 1 shower head and handheld spray on 1 side and a simple tub spout on the other.
Shower side is Grohe smart box shower head/handheld spray
tub side is Grohe shower/tub valve only tub spout
Sweating 1/2 adapters to 1/2 copper pipes and using T fittings to feed both set ups.
Tub and shower will not be used at same time
From 1/2 copper to tub valve approx 8"
From T to Grohe smart box feeding shower 14"
From smart box to shower head appts 3.5'
I will have to use for each side 1 "T" and 2 90deg fittings.
Will I have issues or should I go to 3/4 PEX? Its such a small run but dont want to bottle neck system? Not much money to throw out and start over with new PEX.???
I appreciate the time spent to assist me!! Honestly having to sweat on the adapters I should have just went 1/2 copper but now I have the crimp tool and a lot usable or junk PEX.
