    Water runs from handheld and wall shower same time

    Installed Moen 3357 diverter with Moen 3510 valve in walk in shower, not tub faucet. Using tub port for water, closed the shower port. When I switch diverter to hand held shower, main shower line drips water. Main shower works fine when selected as primary.

    Substance is hard. Not sure it is a repair, but other pipes don't have it.

    I started bathroom remodel and found this. Looks like repair to broken pipe. Should I worry about this, or leave it alone? Have not had problems before the remodel so don't expect any, but better to address this now that sheetrock is off.
