    how to remove abs shower drain ?

    I need to remove the top part of the shower drain because it is sticking out above the shower pan, and water is leaking under the drain lip. but it's tight as hell, mostly because I can't get a grip on it. I don't have the right tools at the moment. But do i have to remove the compression nut...
