    Shallow well HELP!!! Is it going dry??

    We have a shallow well and a family member thinks it might be drying up.The pump is cavitating and we have just replaced the pump, check valve ,the water filter, the pressure gauge and reran the piping from pump to tank. The tank is holding pressure it reads 27 when checked with a tire gauge...
