Anyone know if this brass hose faucet (bibb) is good quality, and . . .

Hello, I'm considering buying this brass hose faucet from Home Depot for about $9.72. Does anyone here recommend it? It has a quarter turn ball valve. Is a screw valve a better choice? Say, is its handle tan-painted metal, or plastic? . . . Also please, can I use this faucet with a compression fitting on copper pipe? (Even though the faucet is just sold with a NPT mounting end). Thanks

1/4 turn is always good but how you attach it to the existing pipe makes difference the one you show 1/2 IPS and you would have to solder on female adapter.
