I installed a lot of these toilets in the 1970's
It's a Norris 5.0 gallon flush toilet, builder grade two piece toilet.
I see a lot of them showing cracking in the glaze and in the porcelain.

I had three of these in one home I lived in.
They required constant plunging to keep them working right.
There are many new toilets that work much better than these.

Another Norris toilet bowl from the 60's
These babies last forever.
Except for all that cracking on the porcelain, and the bolts rusting out.

A customer sent me this photo of his Norris tank. He was downstairs when he heard water running. Going upstairs, he saw that the Norris tank had cracked and was leaking onto the floor. This would have been installed in the 70's. About forty years old.

Interesting all that cracking!

Our 1927 Standard has no cracks and near-perfect porcelain.

Just put a new nice Moen flush handle on it yesterday. I guess I should post some pictures. It's not in an attractive location; cramped little WC off the laundry room where a bunch of stuff gets stored as well.
