Hi all,

I am building a farm and I am about to install my irrigation main lines with frost-free hydrants for my above ground distribution into timers. I have recently read about the cross connection/contamination risk the weep holes pose to water supplies. The health department doesn't require anything specific because I'm on a private well, but I'd like to know what I should use, if anything?

Should I use a double-check valve? A reduced pressure zone device? Sanitary hydrants?

Thanks for any info you can provide.
