I need trim in the places where tiling wall meet the ceiling.

Wood Trim:
is it good enough to be used there after it is painted with bathroom paint?
glue it to the tile wall and painted ceiling is good enough?
any recommendation for the adhesive?

PVC Trim:
can it be glued on the tile and painted ceiling?
any recommendation for the adhesive?

Thanks,

Steam vapor rises in long hot showers.

I plan for this when choosing. Ceiling backer and mud/paint if its not tiled.

Of course pvc is better than mdf or say primed pine in a wet area.

If you use lumber make sure to paint All and every side of it anywhere near a wet area. If latex use an eggshell or matt. The better choice an oil base but i dont like using it.

As for adhesive i would reccomend silicone after you nail it and paint final coat. 100% silicone iS not paintable..fyi
