Hello...first time posting here and I really appreciate all of the input and advice that I read here! I am flipping my tub around from what was a right hand drain to a new tub with a left hand drain. I would like the tub drain to connect into the old tub drain. This remodel will require me to remove the old 1.5" vent that went from the tub drain line into the 3" main stack. I am wondering if the new line is run with 2" from the tub trap to the main stack and has a max length of 5.5', will the main stack suffice as the vent? There is nothing else tying into this line...just the tub drain. Thanks in advance for the assistance.
