I need to install a whole house filter. Lately there has been a lot of reddish sediment. Should I install the filter before or after the bladder tank? I have a Gould pump under house going to Well Troll tank, then everywhere else. Where should I put the whole house filter?

Filter after the pressure tank. The pressure switch goes at the pressure tank. If you had a filter before, it could clog and have the pump on continuously.

It looks like the sense line for the switch is tapped off the pump so a filter between the pump and the tank would bounce your switch.

I think I am following you, I need a little translating though. "Bouncing" the switch is bad, right? Basically, the whole house filter needs to be AFTER the pump, right?
