They are the most useless part iv ever encountered not only that but it wastes gas by instantly cooling the water i just heated up before it even reaches my taps which by the way have a hot and cold option, it wastes hot water by pre-cooling it before you then mix it again at your taps, my 15 year old busted ass water heater without a mixing valve worked 3x as effectively as this new one with a mixing valve...
its freakin’ useless for anything other then wasting money you waste extra money heating up water that is cooled before it even reaches your taps and because the water is pre-cooled the hot water is stretched far thinner being cooled twice before it even exits the tap..
