Whirlpool top load washer

I have a top load Whirlpool Cabrio washer.
The nut for the pulley keeps coming off, creating “clicking” noise , (like teeth being missed while turning)
I would rather not put “loctite” on it, in case I need to get it off, later.
Any suggestions

There are different grades of Loctite thread locker. The red is intended to be not removable. Blue is intended to be removable. Purple is intended to be even more removable. Each is easier to remove with heat.

It is unusual for a washing machine to live through two belts and need a third IMO.
